M-1A (Industrial Park) is one of Margate's two industrial districts (the other is M-1 Light Industrial, Sec. 40.530). Per Sec. 40.531: intended to provide land for business and industry that expands the City's economic base - businesses/industries primarily manufacturing goods and providing services for sale/use outside the City, including research, development, manufacture, and large office buildings.
