Industrial, General District (I-2) — Code of Ordinances Ch. 27, Art. VI, Div. 11 (Secs. 27-805 through 27-820) Jupiter, Florida

Jupiter's general industrial district, governed by Sec. 27-806 (Use regulations). It is the Town's heavier-intensity industrial district (it uniquely carries a Nuisance Control section, 27-808, plus primary and accessory outdoor storage yard provisions at 27-812/27-813). Core by-right activity is manufacturing, assembly, processing, fabrication, repair, warehousing and distribution of goods, per the Code's definition of 'Industrial.' Jupiter regulates industrial tenancy primarily by SIZE THRESHOLD rather than by use type: warehouse over 10,000 sf, self-service storage over 10,000 sf, office over 2,500 sf, and indoor recreation over 2,500 sf were converted from by-right to special exception (2010/2011 amendments) to preserve a predominance of true industrial use per the Future Land Use Element.
