Zoning explained · Palm Beach County

Industrial (I) District Delray Beach, Florida

Delray Beach's true industrial district, for industrial land uses regulated so as to protect the environment and the public from their impacts. It is the most permissive industrial district in the city and one of the strongest in the county for trades and automotive tenants: automobile paint, body and repair shops are permitted BY RIGHT, as are boat repair and service, machine shops, welding, printing, cold storage, dry cleaning and laundering, food preparation and catering, and a broad Service Industry category covering general contractors, electricians, plumbers, HVAC, landscaping, exterminators and equipment/tool rental.
